SOLD - 2013 Scion FRS - 72k Miles - $16k - Orlando, FL
CAR IS SOLD!!!
The time has come for me to size up to something bigger so I'm selling my FR-S. I'd like for it to go somewhere I know it will be cared for. It's mostly just sitting in my garage and gets driven once per week to keep things lubricated. Full details below. I can also supply the CarFax. 2013 Scion FR-S 72,251 miles 6 Speed MT Located in Orlando, FL I am the 3rd owner, I bought the car from Mullinax Ford in Apopka, FL in 2017 with about 35k miles on it. Upon purchasing the car, I had Toyota replace the transmission and clutch under warranty since there was a grind from 3rd to 4th (I have paperwork). I also had them fix a cracked weld (found out it was in an accident in 2013 at about 10k miles - front passenger side). Other than that and a very recent small timing cover leak (no drips or significant oil loss), I've never had any mechanical issues with the car since. Overall the car is in pretty good shape besides a few cosmetic things listed below and is reliable and drives smooth. Cosmetic Concerns (see photos): -2 small windshield chips -Trunk FR-S logo fell off, there's a small amount of residue than can be easily erased, I just haven't gotten to it. -A couple of small scuffs and dings -Tint on driver side window is starting to peel. Maintenance -Oil every 3k miles or 6 months in the cases where I didn't drive it that often, always with the Subaru oil filter or Mobil 1 filter and Subaru oil or Quaker State as recommended by 540 Rat (not sure if that's good but his data and tests seem pretty good). -Transmission and diff fluid were changed at about 60k miles with the Motul package from CounterSpace garage. -I also replaced the wheel studs with ARP wheel studs and better lug nuts since the OEM studs and nuts are notorious for stripping. -I have the spark plugs, I haven't gotten around to changing them and will include. This might save you about $100. -I have NOT done the recall for the valve springs since many people were having issues with the service from Toyota. I figured it was safer to leave it if it's not giving me problems. Last edited by Kutchak; 06-25-2023 at 07:51 PM. Reason: Fixed photos |
