Are the old Brakes pads options such as in this URL compatible with the new 2023 BRZ?

I was wondering if the rotors, pad and skid are all straight slot between the 2011/22 to 2023 model?

The standard brakes are compatible across all years. Just not the performance pack Brembos.

Yes they are.

Good question... I want to improve the performance on the track, without sacrificing too much on the st. Hopefully that make sense.

Sorry what do you mean across all years? As in gears?

But yes... saw STI Brembo on the Subie website mentioned you need a different wheels or clearance.

What is your driving experience level? Can you list the mods on your car and the track you run?

I'm expecting a brand new car, won't have any mods on it. Thinking of upgrading pads and rotor first for track use. As I heard the OEM don't last more than a few laps.

If you have track experience, definitely go straight to track pads!

In addition to switch to track brake pads do also change brake fluid to one of higher boiling temps.
If car is completely stock, consider in future changing alignment to more track oriented with more negative camber.

Just to add to what others have said. For autox, street set up is probably fine. For track, as @churchx pointed out, you need track pads and high temp brake fluid. Stock rotors are fine. In DE 1-2, I've been running Carbotech xp8's with Rockauto replacement rotors. There are many different track pads out there but no such thing as a street/track pad. @CSGMike is a good resource.

Depends. If one is ok with extensive dusting and higher wear of expensive pads & rotors, then CSG C1 was good both on track & street. It braked consistently good at both uses, and didn't squeal. Just that i hated washing wheels every second day and as they cost a lot it seemed wasteful to "spend" them during daily driving.
