swapping out steering wheel

Hey guys! as a bid to try and support the new platform i made a plate that sandwich is in between a hub adapter and a steering wheel that allows you to keep your horn/cruise control / cluster navigation switches. Was wondering if anyone here is in the process of switching their steering wheels out. il give you the kit for free. you just have to install and take pictures of it. maybe give a lil feedback.

Very nice work for the community! Thank you! I had assumed that the stock switches go into a PCB that sums up and CANs it into the steering wheel hub coil spring. But I guess not? From your setup, do the wires from the individual buttons go into some summing PCB or they individually go into the coil spring?

I am waiting for delivery of my GR86 and was planning on getting a works bell kit with the button relocation.

well its more of resistors in series for each button. in electronics its called a resistor ladder. But yeah the buttons all connect as they should to emulate the Cruise Control, and also the navigation buttons with a joystick. the back of this plate has connectors that go into the little adapter harness then that plugs into the factory clockspring. So not modifications needed for anything. if your interested and your going to do that mod let me know and il send it to you.
