Summer Kickoff 2025

What's up everyone. Summer is just around the corner and we are gonna kick it off with the return of Summer Kickoff with Norcal86! This event is a little different due to the scale. There is a small cost we ask people to help cover if they want to eat, but the event is set up to break even and people just cover the cost of their food. Anyone can attend for free (minus the park entrance fee) and bringing your own food is OK too! We just want everyone to hang out and have a good time.

We will have plenty fo water for everyone as it does get hot, whether you pay for the BBQ or not.

When: June 7, 2025
Time: 10am (awards and raffle are usually over by 2ish)
Where: Lake Del Valle - Agua Vista picnic area
7000 Lake Del Valle Rd
Livermore, CA 94550

BBQ Registration - $6
Payment link can be found here: https://norcal86.org/sko25

Everyone also please complete the Google Form if you are attending, paid or not: https://forms.gle/fNCdJ6xXotHyvjee7

The cost is to eat! Each individual attendee must register and pay if they would like to eat. If you are just there to hang out the event is FREE!

Every registered attendee will be entered in to the car show (all years FRS/BRZ/86/GR86 only). Make sure you arrive by 11am to ensure judging. Arrive earlier if you want prime parking.

Note: There is a $6 fee to enter the park. This is paid at the gate and is not to us. Cash and CC accepted.

NO REVING. NO BURNOUTS. NO LOUD MUSIC. BE RESPECTFUL. Beer and wine is allowed. This is a car event so please DRINK RESPONSIBLY if you choose to.
If you behave in a fashion we feel represents us in a negative light you will be told to leave. No refunds for poor behavior!

BBQ includes:
Burgers, hot dogs, sides, and soda. There will be plenty of water as well. Please contact me if you have dietary restrictions so we can try to accommodate.

Car Show Categories (subject to change):

Best Female Owned
Best 1st Gen
Best 2nd Gen
People's Choice
Best in Show

Sponsors: TBA

There will be raffle prizes!

I'll be in Texas right before, but if I decide to make the 10 hour drive from Idaho, would you have a hotdog for me? I'll gladly pay the $6.

Would be great to see you and others in the 86 drive group.

Not sure if this was mentioned anywhere else but are other makes and models allowed to be there/spectate or is this strictly the 86 platform only?

not sure about this year but i remember previous years there was a section of the parking lot for non-twins.

You can just pay the $10 to get into the park and then park in the same area.

anyone can come and hang. non-86 can even participate in the BBQ if they wanted. they will just not be eligible for the car show and we do ask them to park in a different area of the lot
