Scammer: beware of Chris.W003502

I'm really new to FT86 Club, and have been looking at various parts to buy for my son's project car. I got a PM from the user above who said he had a set of brembos for sale and to ask for more info. I emailed back and forth with him, and then did a simple google search and it appears he's lurked other boards like the BMW ones, etc.

Probably time for the ban hammer on that ID. I'm too old and distrustful to not at least check anymore. Hope no one else gets hoodwinked.

Received a similar message from the same guy today for a cheaper part, didn't bother emailing seemed sketchy.

but it is definitely fun to mess with them. one was all set to 'buy' my car for $400k. the 'deal' fell apart when they required 'a picture of you in the drivers seat', and i posted a pic with a watermark, then they called me a scammer...

A member did the same to me about an engine when I posted I wanted to buy a long block. Supposedly his car was wrecked and he parted it but didn’t post a single part for sale. A lot of other sketchy stuff.
My cell number is from ny. His number was texas. When I offered to pick up, he was in California. He was offering to send me the engine for inspection if I just paid the $200 for shipping (lol).
English wasn’t good- definitely made me think he was a foreign scammer.

Not sure how to do that, but definitely a scam artist. I know for sure because he said over and over again that he's not a scammer.

If they PM there is a triangle up in the top right. Just click that and report suspected scamming. The Mods (well singular Mod these days) will take it from there.
