Subaru iPod Connector Cable?

Anyone got one? How much did it run you and how long is the cable? I saw someone post they'd found a shorter cable so please repost details if you happen to see this!

Thanks!

Where would this cable connect to? I don't own an iPod, but wouldn't you just connect a regular USB-to-iPod cable in the USB port in the dash?

Best place to get an ipod connector cable would be through ebay.

You'd think the audio would go across the standard iPod USB cable, but it appears Subaru (like other car makers) have decided to split the audio so that you have to buy their special cable to get the full functionality. It sucks, but the only option.

I use a cable I had lying around the house, works great.

I also use the standard Apple ipod USB cord... I've had a few errors/lag with it though and it takes a while for the system to notice that the iPod is hooked up.

Maybe a new cord would work better? anyone else having this probleM?

Wouldn't a standard 3.5mm work too? No iPod control from the head unit, but that's a $3 cable.

True, but the lack of charging with a 3.5mm is a bit of a cramper.

This?

Although a regular USB cable that is supplied with an iPod works fine. There is some interference in the playback if it's charging the device, but that's normal according to the manual.

I've just been using blue tooth. You can pick out which song you want to listen to either via the headunit or the device itself!

So for those of us with Android phones, we can use a regular micro usb cable, yes?

Can't have your cake and eat it too. Deal with it, find a solution, or buy the cable.

Been doing the same thing and it doesn't bother me at all. That's why the ipod has a battery for that very reason.
