UltraFRS' Ultramarine FR-S

Ordered an Ultramarine from my original dealer in May. Dealer told me that they could have it my early September which is what I wanted because I was waiting on the buyer for my Civic to come up with the money. Well August and September rolled around and I called numerous times to check the status of the order as I had not received any info on the car. I was finally able to get the manager to return my call and he stated that they never placed the order and was waiting on a Ultramarine to arrive at a nearby dealer so they could trade it out. Well I was not pleased with that so I began looking for one again. Called a couple of dealers and finally found an Ultramarine that had been sitting on the lot for a week, with no dealer add ons and only the rear mat. Went out and looked at it and began the paperwork. I didnt yet have my complete down payment as I was waiting to sell my Civic the next day. They let me finish the paperwork without the down payment and take the car home and got to bring my down payment back the next week.
Old Civic

Picked it up-9/11/12

Had 5% tint put on the back windows and 30% on the front

I hit 1000 miles last weekend, as I only get to drive it 1 possibly 2 days out of the week since I get to bring my work car home

And sitting next to my current project a '77 Celica(grandmothers car bought brand new with 180xxx original miles)

Got a baseline dunno with K&N panel filter of 161 HP and 132 TQ on a mustang dyno thanks to AWD Tuning in Flower Mound, TX. Car had 3050 miles on it.

Very nice
Were you thinking about doing any mods?

I would eventually like to lower it, wheels, exhaust, maybe FI...but all of that will probably be a ways down the road. I'm wanting to put my efforts and money into the Celica at this point in time. I've got motor work(either modding the 20R or a 1JZ swap), custom suspension, and bodywork planned on the Celica, so the FR-S is going to be a very slow build.

You're lucky to have a Celica in such good condition! I say throw in a 3SGE motor in there.

The only thing wrong with the engine is that it needs new valve seals. I already put a 2 barrel weber on it and pulled all the emissions off. Plus I have a friend with a few complete 1Js for cheap.

So my wife gave me an early Christmas present today.

Its just a plain grip tape shorty with no engravings. I must say that this makes shifting so much easier, and it feels very good in the hand.
