I received a couple questions regarding these.

- They are stock replacement

- Squeak considerably less than the more expensive Hawk pads

_ Yes it is front and rear for only 145 bucks!

- they are track pads but can also be used to daily in a warm climate.

- everything are brand new and never even open.

Why would I use track pads to daily?

because its summer and you shouldn't drive on public streets like how you would drive on the race track?

I have hawk DTC30 and Hawk HP+ all summer for 3 consecutive years. I dont see any braking issue during my daily commute doing 10 over the speed limit. I used to do about one or two events per month throughout the entire summer and to jack the car up every single time just to swap the pads? might sound like fun the first couple times but not so much fun after a while.

You may have time to swap back and forth between your race pads and daily pads thats good for you.

So driving on the streets as you would on the track with track pads would make it better? You misconstrued what I am questioning.

It's not a good idea to suggest someone should or easily can daily a set of track pads as opposed to Street pads regardless of climate. There is enough information out there to recommend against dailying track pads, even on this forum.

"So driving on the streets as you would on the track with track pads would make it better? You misconstrued what I am questioning."

that is not what I meant. Trackpads take time to to get to operating temperature if you are doing 60-80KM commuting, don't drive like an ass. even with cold "track" pads your car would stop. But If you're stupid enough to start your car, go on the highway right after and slam the brake at 170, then you will probably have a problem then. Just common sense and have in mind what pads you are using.

And it's not a good idea to listen to someone online advice either, from you OR me. I have done it in my car, I believe its okay. I base my advice off my OWN experience. And I know A LOT of people who keep their track pad on all summer. but to each their own. we're all adults here. just because someone has done it doesn't mean you should.

But you had to take 5 minutes out of your day to voice your opinion just to make sure you feel that your opinion is right. that is cool too, I appreciated your concern for other people safety. But i felt like this little back and forth wasn't worth both of our time because it has nothing to do with selling/buying this product

are you interested in these pads by any chance?

These pads are actually quite decent for the price. I have a set of these and did 4 track days last year and daily them until October. I experienced no fade with gt3 brake ducts and they hardly squeal, more like a really faint high pitched sound. Only downside is the brake dust which I consider normal with these kind of pads. If you search s2ki forum, they rave about these pads.

I too have a friend who participated in OTA with them and had them on as a daily pad all year round. even did GP track with them. Also another one who used them for the past two years.

The lower price makes them seem a little bit fishy. But they are great pads. I only selling them because im selling my BRZ in the summer.

How do these compare to the DTC-30? I daily with DTC-30 in the front and HP+ in rear (track on weekends) and I love how they feel but they're a little too noisy for traffic.

quoting my friends here. but they both came from Hawks and other brands. These squeak considerably less.
