I’m leaving the BRZ family have questions on removing mods

In order to remove the Delicious Tuning flex fuel kit, do I have to empty the current tank of E85 first? When should be the right time to flash the factory ROM back to ecu, after aftermarket header and flex fuel kit are removed? I’m running Ecutek Delicious tune.

empty the e85 tank, refill with dino gas, run that tank down, refill with dyno gas again, remove flex fuel kit.

Thank you. Can I remove the header before FF kit? If so what about my tune? I’d like to revert back to stock tune, but would have to wait until FFK gets removed. If current tune I’m running is for both the header and FFK, if I remove header first while still having FFK, will that cause any issue?

remove/use all the E85 in your tank, and then refill with 91.

Once your tank is fully 91, you can remove everything simultaneously.

If you'll flash back stock tune, ecutek license will be lost. Not sure it's best thing to do.

I’m confused, I thought the Ecutek license will be wiped if dealer flashes the ECU. I just want to revert back to stock tune is it won’t throw a CEL when I swap back to factory header.

When I sell my Ecutek stuff, is the license also part of it?

The license is permanently tied to the ECU; you would only be selling the cable/dongle.

Hmm, indeed, mistake of mine. Seems that license will get lost if someone writes over after "written stock back with ecutek", which releases access/write locks. Not sure though if car sale value will be higher if next owner will know if there is "free" ecutek license in it, or if under impression that is completely stock/unmodified

You are right in a sense. If the dealer flashes the ECU the license is lost but with proof of purchase I believe you can get your ecutek license renewed on a sense which would allow you to reflash...
