Cheap and Popular OFT for Casual

Just looking for a an easy performance boost for my 2013 FRS DD. I'm not looking to get super involved with under the hood stuff; just something I can buy and have my mechanic drop-in. Looking for a product link from a reputable reseller.

If mechanic install isn't applicable, I'm comfortable with IT stuff but haven't taken the time to get crazy into car mechanics - I still chalk it up to wizardry. If it's a requirement to be mechanically savy; I'm open to alternative drop-in upgrades to gain performance / responsiveness on a budget. Thank ya.

Oft is easy to use. You won't need a mechanic. All sorts of info on YouTube as well.

Thanks, I'm hoping to minimize trial by error; I've read about different steps, phases, and I'm sure there's a number of different brands. Really looking for some specific info if there's any believers in an individual products or reseller.

You have 3 main options

Ecutek - probably the best tunes and support overall but most expensive

Openflash tablet - easiest and cheapest flash and go option, however just as much as ecutek if you get a custom e-tune but less support. Not bad for basic bolt ons. Or if you are knowledgeable enough to tune yourself.

Tactrix - cheapest overall but you have to self tune and can be more complicated.
