BRS hood gaps not the same size

Hey guys,

I saw another post with a similar situation that was caused by adjustable rubber knobs not being turned to the proper position under the hood but I wanted to see if you guys thought this was a similar situation

I bought my BRZ used after I turned in my FRS on tuesday. I noticed drooping of the front bumper cover where it meets the headlights but the dealership (being autonation and reputable and all) said that it was a clip issue and they would fix it for free if I bought the car. Upon getting home I Noticed that the drivers side hood gap between the hood and front quarter is much wider than the passenger side gap. Do you think this is frame damage from the accident it was in (I also knew about this but upon first inspection it appeared all damage was repaired) or is it related to the known issue with these cars.

Pic would help. The gaps should be the same in the horizontal plane. the stops only adjust the vertical.

Yeah they are not the same on the horizontal but are the same on the vertical. The dealership said theyd fix this but well see if they live up to their bargain.

I noticed the same thing on my '13 BRZ. The distance from hood to fender is wider on the driver's side than the passenger's. I bought the car used (2nd owner) and have noticed other things that may be indicative of previous mods. I haven't had any issues in the 8 mos. I've had the car.
