Are these real or fake bride gias seats? Here' the ad:

"Authentic Bride GIAS low max carbon kevlar seats
$1,200
Walnut, CA
selling 1 mint condition authentic and reclinable seat.
retail is about 2.2k a piece. Was going to put these in but decided to go with FRS seats and save money instead.

seat is almost like brand new

I dunno, but am I understand this correctly, the guy is selling one of two to save money on the seat he doesn't need, and he is taking a $1k hit? Seems like a good deal if they are legit.

@Tk rocket The pictures are too low res to tell definitely. But from the lower bolster side plastic, these appear to be reps. That's an older design of the plastics, from those model years the kevlar wasn't an option with plain black gias. There is also no japanese verification label on the side kevlar, this has a phone # to call and register/verify legitimacy. You could message the seller for the a shot under the seat which should have the model and serial. Nicer Reps will still have this sticker but it won't match the obvious specs of the seat. You could pick up a set of similar spec reps on zilvia.net or ebay for a little cheaper brand new. I've owned a set of authentic bride zeig's.

I"m leaning toward that these are reps as well. Of course I'm trying to get real ones.

Is 9k racing in whittier, Ca a legit shop? they are offering the gias too for 1800 a seat out the door for brand new.
