Any kind of coating on the Windshield (when its new from factory)

Hello,

Anyone know for the BRZ,
when its delivered new from factory,
does the windshield have any kind of coating on it ?

Cause i am thinking to use the Meguiars Glass Polish Compound,
and according to Meguiars, the Polish is not recommended if there is any coating on the WindShield.

I want to do the Polish cause i covered the WindSheld with a PVC canvas,
and somehow, the 'pattern' on the canvas is imprinted onto the windshield.
The imprint is very 'fine' and only visible when wet

Thanks

Standard sandwich type safety glass. Polish away with no fear.
