Car won't turn on!

So my car is having trouble turning on. It's a push start and when I go to turn the car on the electronics and radio turn on fine. When I press on the clutch and hit the push start the car just turns off, doesn't even turn over, almost as if the car is not registering that the clutch is being pressed and just turning off. Any ideas or has anyone else had this issue?

You may wish to check the clutch start switch. It may be loose, disconnected or burnt out.

Here is an active thread that talks all about it.

First off, I don't know how I landed on this thread

Have you checked the battery recently? An almost dead battery may be able to turn on accessories and/or lights. However, it may die immediately upon attempting to do so since starting the car takes a lot of juice. If it's not even trying to turn over, it could be in really bad shape.

My suggestion would be to have it checked out at your local AutoZone or PepBoys. If in need of a new one, those Optima batteries have given me good service life, and reliability.

So...turns out it was the clutch position sensor, all I did was turn the nut a bit where the sensor is mounted so that it sticks out a bit more, and gets fully pressed down when I step on the clutch. The only thing that sucked was twisting up all down there like a contortionist
