Bilstein Coilovers

So I ordered these coils and when they arrived I realized they were without camber plates, reading up on it they said you can use your oem camber plates from your stock set of coils. So my questions are: can you actually use your oem equipment on these aftermarket coils? (I’m not really looking for more camber anyway I just want them to be able to go on seeing as I have camber bolts already) and can anyone actually inform me on how to attach the oem ones to my bilsteins? (I’ve done coils before but never had to mess with any camber plating or spring compressing). Thanks a bunch in advance guys!

Yes you reuse the OEM top hats. Unless you have aftermarket camber plates. No oe camber plates exist.

The instructions on the Bilstein website should help you figure it out. I'm on my phone so I can't grab a link right now but find the product page for this car and your dampers and there should be a downloadable PDF to set you straight if the included instructions are the older set that isn't very detailed.

And unless you Must Have more camber then can be dialed w. camberbolts (but that's usually need for someone doing trackdays a lot, in which case i guess that you would have chosen a bit more track-oriented coilovers), you are better off using OEM topmounts anyway, NVH/comfort wise, so nothing wrong with reusing them, mostly gains.

I'm using OEM top hats on my Megan's with no issues.

I'd suggest getting new OEM ones, but if you have low mileage on the original ones you might be ok.
