Question I thought this car came with an LSD?

I thought this car came with an LSD? But when i had the car jacked up and pushed one wheel clockwise the other went counter-clock wise.

I tried looking everywhere for an answer.... but couldnt find anything

Try turning it counterclockwise.

I think you need to learn what a Torsen differential does.

It needs two wheels on the ground to function properly. Not all LSDs work the same.

Well the OP may be right. According to some purists or pedantics, the Torsen LSD isn't actually an LSD.

It is, but unlike a VLSD or a mechanical LSD, a Torsen requires two wheels on the ground to work.

So when one wheel is up in the air, it is an open diff and the car can't move. This is why applying the parking brake when you're 3-wheeling helps to move the car.

Today I did a u-turn in a parking lot. YES son, there is a little leprechaun making sure both wheels spin when making doughnuts.

Don't quote me, I don't need the lesson.

I was simply commenting on the puritan or pedantic viewpoint of some.

As said there is a difference in operation of a traditional LSD and a Torsen Automatic Torque Biasing (ATB) differential...

http://quaife.co.uk/differentials

Most definitely have an ATB in the FRS...you can feel it.
