road rage chain reaction video
http://nypost.com/2017/06/23/road-ra...highway-crash/
Both parties at fault, but way too much overreaction by the car driver. Looks like he was trying to kill that guy. |

I'm sure it is different being in the driver seat, but I really think that truck should have been on the brakes a lot sooner.

Couldn't tell whether the car entered the HOV lane legally at a break in the yellow lines, but if it didn't, and cut off the motorcyclist in the process, I'd say that most of the fault lies with them.
The chances of a a person suffering serious injury or death in a collision are much greater if they're a biker, so I can understand why the biker got so pissed.

How did the sedan still have so much forward momentum to cut back across and hit the truck like that? It doesn't appear that they were attempting to apply the brakes AT ALL.

Just a couple weeks ago I was on my bike going about 30mph when someone in the lane next to me changed lanes and ran into me. I laid the bike down and I fortunately just rolled instead of slid and I was wearing plenty of protection so no road rash. The idiot stopped for about 5 seconds and then took off. A freakin' hit-and-run!
So I'm a little biased, but that car is definitely at fault. |

Either way, glad to hear you're ok and didn't suffer any injuries. I'm sure the gear really helped.

The guy on the bike just drove off without stopping, so the CHP is looking for him. Possible hit-and-run charges as well. This is a case of one idiot meeting another with a innocent guy being caught in the middle.
Source: http://www.nbclosangeles.com/news/lo...430061183.html Regardless of who 'started' it first, the guy on the bike is lucky not to have been hurt. Your ego being hurt costs a lot less than being hurt in the hospital. |

"on their way to work when they noticed a sedan cut off a motorcycle to get into the HOV lane. Traber took out his phone and started recording."
We have no clue how it started and who did what since it wasn't shown. Even if the car did cut the bike off his action only escalated the situation. A simple finger and some choice words would have been enough the whole kick was not reasonable. The car drivers actions were so grossly inappropriate even for the kick that he should be charged with attempted homicide. The bike rider could have caused a dent and a scratch the car driver could have killed him! I would say serves him right if it wasn't for the poor SOB in the truck that got creamed.
