Stupid question about mirror width...

I have appropriated a parking space as my own, and when parking defensively as close to the wall as possible I use the right-hand mirror as a guide. I'm sure I saw a dimension chart somewhere, but cant find it now.

Does the passenger side mirror protrude farther than the rear fender? IOW, if you are parallel to a wall, the mirror will hit first, correct? It looks mighty close by eye.

Thank you for your attention to this matter. Please provide your SSN and bank account numbers in your reply.

Yes, at least on my 3013 FR-S, the mirror sticks out further than the fenders.

CAUTION: alcohol may distort the geometry of parallel .....

Just send my reward, as a gift chit, to: The River Road Pot Shop, on the reservation ....... c/o humfrz.

Come now, you can easily see that the 3013 FR-S doesn't even HAVE side mirrors.
