Any Car Rental companies have FR-S' in the US?

Hey Guys,
I'm from Australia but trying to plan a US roadtrip for next year around April. Fly into LA, drive whever, end up down at Coachella then back to LA before I fly home.
Just wondering if you can hire FR-S's over there as i have an 86 here and cant think of a better car to do a trip over there in (as opposed to the usual camaro or mustang options). I've had a quick look but no success so far but I figure surely, with these cars being so cheap and popular, someone over there must stock them for hire?

Much appreciated.

There are other cars that could be fun to rent. BMW, Abarth, etc.

Also, when you get closer to your trip, it might be worth it to contact Scion dealers and see if they have one they might be willing to rent.

I've always thought of rental cars as a chance to check out something new/different than what you have at home. If you're going out of LA there are plenty of places that will rent you an exotic or high-end car for the week.

California might save you yet. When I was trying out cars for this go-round, I rented a Mustang convertible thinking it would be the only other choice other than FRS.

What I learned ws that I did not like the Mustang, and that there wer a lot of other cool cars in the rental lot that I had not seen at any other rental car company. Vettes, Beemers, Mercedes, and other neat stuff was to be had for the right $$$.

First thing that popped up was this:

California is the closest to you, unless you plan to go to Hawaii.

Man I could not in good faith let anyone drive my baby let alone without me being with them. Only 3 people have driven my car. Me, my G/F, and my Dad and that's it!

Try Google

Best bet might be to try Google -- Scion FRS Rental California.

There are a couple of companies in SoCal that specialize in renting "hard to find" vehicles.. 4 or 2 wheel varieties.
