No stereo system in BRZ - Toyota GR86, 86, FR-S and Subaru BRZ Forum & Owners Community

Hi, just bought a '13 Subaru BRZ.

This is the basic model, whitout fancy stuff like radio/nav, speakers and whatnot.
The thing im wondering is if there is a chance that the wire harness for the headunit is in place? Did not have the chance to check, beacause i only had the car for a few days before i went back to work offshore.
In worst case scenario, what do I need? Is it possible to get some sort of wire kit or simular?

Also there is no speakers in the dash, doors or the rear, so im planning to get a set of Focal's or Ground Zeros, together with a nice 2-din headunit.

Honestly, Idk, but yes I imagine that there is wiring.

Check underneath the trunk area to see if the stock amplifier is there.

The amp in the BRZ is in the trunk? Not under the front seat like the FRS?

Under the front seat? i didn't even think there was room in there, I was under the impression that all the cars had it in a cubby in the foam right behind the rear seats.
