Noted late last night and right now at 9 am - server is taking about a minute to load new pages.

I know that the forum lulls at around 9:00 am EST. I seem to frequently wrap up morning work stuff and start goofing off around that time, so hit it pretty often. I believe it also happens some time in the early morning, but have never come across it since I'm usually passed out drunk... erm asleep by then. I suspect it is a db backup or other maintenance task, and just try again later. Usually 5 of 10 minutes is enough if you're already exhibiting withdraw symptoms.
