Toyota GT86 test drive impressions and possible order?

Hi all,
Ok, so I went the other day to test drive the 86. It was the gt model in manual.
Interior - it felt quite cheap but not too nasty. It could use some light modifications. Steering wheel nice and small. The whole cabin looks ok, but nothing to write home about. GTS on the other hand looked much better. It had a feel of a bit more class (leather seats I think added that). Still, feels slightly cheap-ish but better than GT.

Mechanics - Gearbox is tight and nice. The shorter shift feels nice. Clutch wasn't too bad either. Engine revs nice and smooth and good exhaust sound (it could use a nice exhaust system for extra noise and performance). The torque figure is not really that big but the HP's make up for it when it picks up.

Driving it - is not slow, is not fast either. It is just enough for some. Obviously it could use a nice supercharger or a turbo any time. I must say that it felt quite stiff in the corners. I can see this modified at a big extent. The handling is very good. I remember taking couple of corners a bit sharper than normal and it felt quite stable with a slight tendency to have the back out.

Now, I like this car, I like it a lot. As I mentioned in one of my previous posts, I have been quoted with the aero kit on (42.500 ish) but without it is $39.500. with 6 to 12 months wait.

What are good clauses that I can put in the contract in case something comes up (like I bought a second hand one in this time for instance). I was thinking of something along the lines of:
1. finance aproval (hard though as I dont see reasons why not...but...)
2. Financial position
3. personal circumstances (baby, etc)
4. etc...

As I said, I am keen on the car but the 6-12 months is putting me off. Not to mention unforseen things that could come up and stuff up my finaincial situation.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Put whatever you want in the contract. The dealer will either agree to it or they won't. You can request for it to be delivered by Santa Clause if you want.
If you want a safe option, say subject to own personal finance, it's easy to get a rejection option.

Delivered by Santa...well that would be awesome if it's delivered by December...I can put in subject to delivery period.
