Does anyone know where to get NWB - Nippon Wiper Blades of Japan wiper inserts in the US?

Vivid racing seemed to carry them, but now out of stock. Maybe reach out to their support and see if you can get a lead

The picture is of a complete blade, not an insert.
Denso sells this style of blade, packaged as their "Denso Designer" line of blades. Part numbers 160-3122 and 160-3120, available on Amazon among other places. AFAIK the Denso product is actually made by NWB, but it's literally been 15 years since I came to that conclusion, so things may have changed but unlikely. Inserts are a little harder to track down, but are available via Toyota. 1st gen part numbers: SU003-04215, SU003-04216 for just the rubber (there are also multiple Toyota 85214-xxxx part numbers that are interchangeable) SU003-04213, US003-04214 are the rubber together with their metal spines, for the same price as rubber alone! 2nd gen has new part numbers. I haven't looked into whether they're compatible, but suspect they are, in which case it's an open question why the new part number. At one point, I also determined Honda part 76632-SHJ-A11 is likely usable for our driver's side, but I haven't bought one to confirm. |
