blitz advance power intake system

So someone is selling this intake system lightly used (20k km on it)

Seems not bad, sounds great too from the YouTube videos

But can’t really seem to find a lot of reviews for them, although most of the reviews I have found are saying good things about it.

Anyone have experience with these? Would I ever need a tune for this?

Looks like a fancy looking expensive hot air intake. Much better CAI systems with proven gains albeit minimal gains. But almost all intakes that change MAF housing need MAF scaling.

Grimmspeed CAI is the general consensus for best CAI , also has very close to stock MAF scaling so technically should be fine without it but still recommend.

Perrin CAI is pretty good but requires removal of bumper for install and filter cleaning, so generally not worth it to most people. Also needs MAF scale.

Generally drop in filter for 40$ will get you roughly 1% power with no scaling needed. A good CAI for 300$+ will get you about 2% more power. So majority of people say to just stick to drop in filter and call it a day.

MAF scaling needs to be done through Tuning, a few different options. Generally it’s between openflash tablet or Ecutek. Some other cheaper options if you know how to do everything yourself.

Wow thanks for all the info. I guess I’ll pass the offer from this person and buy a drop in if I ever wanted to mod the intake then. Thanks!!

I would stay far away. Looks like shit and sucks hot air. I can't imagine it sounding better than a good intake either so it's all negative.
