Verify my installation of EBC

Hi guys,

I tried searching around but couldn't find any pics on how to install an EBC. So heres a picture to make sure I did it right.

All good?

This makes more sense to me for an external wastegate.

I had this same question when installing my EBCS two years ago and was on the phone with Grimmspeed about it. They let me know this way in your picture and the way in the picture I posted above works fine. The picture I posted was a newer way to install the EBCS.

The picture you posted is more suited for when you are pushing over 25 psi and need boost help to keep the spring closed and control it better.

Plumbing is perfect then. Pretty sure it's the right harness spot too as it is hitting WG pressure. Just have to get it actively v on trolling now

you may want to run your "vented" port back to the intake manifold. The way it's configured now you have a small boost leak while the turbo is spooling. Granted, it's a small boost leak, but even a small and intermittent boost leak can be frustrating when tuning.

The open port does not constitute boost leak (the amount of boost leaking is negligible). Perfectly fine to leave VTA, as per Grimmspeed instructions, running it VTA on my car and having seen numerous setups VTA that port with no issues.

After installing mine I noticed a drop in vacuum. Going to have to go through and double check for any leaks. Glad I hooked it up correctly though. Thank you for posting this.

Port 1 goes to nothing. It vents to atmosphere.

Edit: oh hey Wisconsin! I'm in milwaukee. If you're around you can look at my setup or I can help check it out.
