Hwy1 Cambria to Carmel

Has anyone driven this north direction.. well at least it's not on the cliff side.
I was wondering how much traffic are there on a monday morning.
I heard it is an incredibly scenic drive but I worry about other tourist and the guys in their sports cars speeding.

all it takes is one RV or car full of tourists, and you're stuck at 25 mph. Yeah, it is a scenic drive...but there are other way better options for hitting the twisties. Hwy 25 south of Hollister to the 128 is one of my favorites...there maybe twistier roads than it....but it tends to be empty

Not that twisty I drove this stretch back in April when I had my Tacoma heading up to big Sur. You can see the speedsters coming up fast. There are only a couple of places where its a bit hilly and where caution is to be taken.
