Build thread. Subaru BRZ #ProjectNightmare

It's always been my dream to build this car for insane amounts of power.. still in progress of build

Let's start with the parts list:
- Avias forged pistons and connecting rods 9:1 compression
- Forged crankshaft
- FBM stage 2 shortblock
- FBM stage 1 heads, ported and polished
- Ferrera valves
- Ferrera Springs
- Ferrera valves
- ARP head studs
- ID 850cc Port injectors
- ACT 10.5 lb lightweight flywheel
- ACT 6-puck sprung clutch disc
- ACT 70% increased clamping force pressure plate
- Full race turbo kit
- Borg warner 6758EFR turbo
- Full race 3" cat back exhaust
- Upgraded rims to 18x10.5 with sticky rubber
AEM gauges
Tuned via ECUtek

Already got a spare in the garage lmao, but thinking of doing a swap or getting the spare built, not sure what though, what do you recomend

Talked to a company out of Colorado called jacks transmission there designing a helical 1-6 gear set and all internals that will be rated for 1000+ only issue is doesn't come out till late this year and it'll cost $6k+

The gears aren't the problem. Our trannies suffer from case flex. As a result, we blow synchros and gears.

Has anyone heard of anyone running a vq37 or 35 trans in this car? Been really leaning towards this once mine goes know there's a lot of fabricating that will need to be done but talked to a few people that said it can be done!!

I have not, I'm trying to stay away from fabricating the car. And hopefully this company designing the gears will take in account the case flex that happens.

We'll have to see how it holds up want to see some people running some good numbers with it before going down that road!!

the 850CC ones will run out at around 480-520 WHP. At least in our case even with plenty of base pressure it was not enough.
