Thumbs up Painted OEM parts

I was looking around for a new front bumper and ran across this place:

http://www.paintedoemparts.com/store...per_Cover.html

I did a search to see if anyone has pointed this out already and didn't see anything. Just wanted to throw this out there for anyone that was looking for pre-painted pieces. I don't know how good the paint match is going to be just wanted to give everyone this info is all.

It's a little over priced and risky not knowing whether or not the paint will match perfectly. One is better off buying a new bumper from dealership for about $300 and spend another $100-300 getting it painted in person/at shop knowing that it will be a closer match.

True but I was just putting the info out there, it's the first time I have seen a company that provides this that's all. Doesn't mean this is what anyone should be doing.

I wonder if you can get just get the bumper from a shop that works on cars from accidents to fix them up, they might be able to order you a bumper officially from Subaru.

You can order an OEM bumper online straight from Subaru, it just doesnt come painted. But the site the OP found is definitely overpriced. Good for if all the shops near you are overpriced or if there aren't any shops near you that can paint I guess.

Though convenient that site just added 100% to the do it yourself price. I in need for this convenience item take the time to do the legwork yourself. Unless you don't mind spending that money I'd say go for it then.
