Call me a b**ch but i never tracked before =(

So tonight while heading to the gym it was sprinkling and i got onto the freeway at my normal speed (on dry weather). As soon as i shifted from 2nd to 3rd my car started sliding. I remember Jeremy Clarkson saying that he started drifting at 20mph... Yea he wasn't joking. Last time this happened to me my car got totaled. In my head i was already like fml bye bye baby i__i. But if i go down ima do whatever it takes to fix this!! So i counter steered like three times. I seriously thought a few more inches and i would of hit the divider and flip my car (over thinking it). I some how got out of hit, slammed my clutch and just kept counter steering until the car slowed down and i got control of it again. Maybe i should take classes so this doesn't happen again.

The results, no scratches, just a little dirt <3 thank god.

I don't mind going a little extra hard on turns so I know exactly what you went through. Good job on controlling the car when you least expect it!

lmao what an anti climatic thread,

I accidently drifted, thought i was going to crash, car got dirty.

next time its wet you better find an empty parking lot, youll be doing it again for the fun factor alone let alone getting better at drifting.

be safe out there!

ps.. if a slide makes you this uneasy, why in the hell would you have tc off?

I just don't understand how you could even get into a decent slide with tc on in dry.. Let alone keep it sliding.

So you slid with the TC on... I find that hard to believe, I drive with TC off all the time and barely get the car to loose the back end when driving... only time I got somewhat loose from 2nd to 3rd I hammered the gas and it was raining, but all it did was shimmy a bit.

I was going to say the same thing. Doesnt matter how fast I am going, if I slightly slip my TC pretty much jams the brakes and is like "NO, NO, STOP IT!"
