So UPS they lost a package of mine - Toyota GR86, 86, FR-S and Subaru BRZ Forum & Owners Community

So i recently bought a grimmspeed plate kit, but it was for the wrong car. Guy at the ups says i can just refuse to accept it and they will ship it back free of charge. Sweet, ok, awesome. So i refuse the package, sign my name and it gets shipped the next day. After some few days of delated updating from my tracking i see this a few days later.

"Merchandise is missing. UPS will notify the sender with additional details. / All merchandise missing, empty carton was discarded. UPS will notify the sender with details of the damage."

So what now? I'm going to call ups tomorrow but this really sucks. Those plates arn't cheap!!

Ups will reimburse if it was their fault.

Yea, it's under investigation but i don't know for how long =/. Currently 70$ down the drain haha. And i have the impatient mood to go buy another one (fr-s one this time.) Waiting for it

i would call the vendor, its partly their fault as well if they send the wrong parts. And most reputable vendor will send you a new one with a problem.

Alright, problem was solved. I called them the next day. Turns out the guys who returned my package (ups) did a shit job of it, what they told me, "rewrapping it" And the item got totally damage returning it. They were about to reship another out but i told them i wanted to return it instead. The company got kind of mad at me because i found a loop hole in returning it without paying for their shipping

, (even though it was free for them to ship to me.) Waited 2 days, and my money was refunded and credited. Thanks guys!!
