I wanted to order a car back in December or so and never got around to it. Now I'm really stuck.

Okay, I guess I'm mostly posting to pat your backs who ordered a car earlier, but I'm sick of this supply-chain crap. I want this BRZ-manual and I don't want to wait. So weird that we want cars and can't get them.

Not much alternative other than 370Z or Elise or Cayman which are expensive. Miata is a different level and I personally hate it after my two test-drives.

Hate to be *that guy*, but goods things come to those who wait. What's 6 months to get the car you really want?

There ain't much out there that's a direct substitute, either. Miata and Cayman would likely be the closest, maybe a 128i (which is a lot more GT-focused), if you can find a decent one.

Maybe a special edition will be introduced. Who knows what we gonna get for 2023 !

I ordered my 2016 Hyperblue way too late. (Like mid-late year instead of 2015)... but I wanted THAT model because it was a great color and lots of options for the price. (even though it's kind of a no-frils car little things like the frameless mirror, dual-climate controls, blue seat stitches... etc) Anyway I had given up to be honest and a dealer called me back because someone had backed out of one in Albany, NY! I was like sweeet. My PS5 was a similar situation where my Fiancée got into some weird loop when she hit back on Amazon after it said sold-out and it ended up in the cart. So she bought it. And now I don't even leave house except for food and work because GT7 is LYFE. So place ye order and when all hope is nearly lost the good Lord will decend upon ye a car that corners like a $100k car for the price of a Camry.
