Re-seating engine mounts

I just unbolted my motor from the bottom of the car to change the spark plugs, but now I can't get the motor to drop into the 2 slots in the cross member. It sits about an inch to the left and forward. Any ideas? PS the trans in on the motor.

Loosen the motor mounts and wiggle the engine around, it'll plop eventually. Check that you're not getting hung up on the overpipe

The over pipe is off. I'll check the motor mounts next.

The right combination of elbow and 4 and 6 letter words got the job done.
