FI Options For 2017 86 W/6 Speed Manual
Good evening everyone:
I would like to know if anyone has any information on FI options for 2017 86 or BRZ, specifically the 6 speed manual transmission with the revised factory tune. Thank you in advance.

Physically all FI options will work for 2017's as there are no major changes to the car that would prevent fit.
As far as you being in California you will want a CARB certified kit. Which skews towards superchargers. The one turbo kit I know of that meets CARB is Works, but due to their inter-cooler design I would not recommend it if you plan to drive aggressively. The question for you will be what is your driving style preference do you want low down torque, or a linear feel. That will help you figure out between a screw type supercharger and a centrifugal. The only thing I would recommend doing as it doesn't look like there is information out there yet is the status of the CARB tunes for the 2017's would be to contact the manufacturers directly. |

I am not concern about CARB in Cali. Low end torque would be something I would go after.

God bless the sunny state of Florida! No Carb or emissions, no smog. Just e85, turbos and 3" exhausts. Oh no state taxes and cost of living is low. Phew phew, car junky state for damn sure.
