OEM Aero - what was available?

Hey everyone,
I'm switching up racing classes and can only run OEM aero - as in it had to be a factory option.

I am getting the wing, but were there any splitters/bumper lips? Or side skirts?

Thanks!

I think the underbody panels are the most effective of the factory stuff.

I believe the under body panels were standard on both twins everywhere but the US. I don't believe they were even an option in the US market. Does that matter?

The STi full lip kit for the BRZ. There's an OEM diffuser, but I think it's pointless to run.

I believe they became standard in 2015 or 2017 but they have been updated to a new part number in 2020 I believe.

The tS had the full North American STi aero kit PLUS, that gorgeous carbon fibre rear wing. I’m told that the rear wing when in the more aggressive positon actual added much needed down force for those doing autocross, slaloms etc.
(Gratuitous photo of my old tS for reference)
Japanese market had different pieces and some extra bits we didn’t see here.

Was that the BRZ only? My 15 Toyota did not have them, but I did add them.

Holy shit- this is potentially huge. I emailed the organization to see if it would be permitted.

That's true. I remember an old member named "Elliot" had a tS and adjusted the wing for more downforce. He sold it when he got a Porsche. He's done quite a lot of track days on his tS. Here's a reference for @GrandSport. The problem is obtaining the tS wing will be very difficult to find, so the JDM version is the best route.

In SCCA Solo rules at least, the tS edition (because of that wing) was just dropped from Street Touring altogether. I don't know if that applied to the regular street class as well or not but I would assume so.

You must mean the 2018 model year version, correct? That was the only year with that wing. If you had a tS and removed the wing would it be accepted? Or, does it have to do with all the other bits too like the suspension and brakes?
I bet someone complained because they got beat by a better driver in a "stock" tS.

Honestly, I didn't look very close at the details. I just saw it was in Fastrack around the ST class proposals. I think the end result is that they dropped the model from ST and the wing itself wouldn't be legal in either S or ST but don't quote me on that. I would certainly do homework on it before I spent any money.

I've seen the tS wing for sale on FB and the prices were beyond idiotic (almost $3K).

It does not appear to be cheap.
I'm shocked no one makes a replica. I guess it's fairly ugly.

There is a replica, but it's for the WRX/STi lineup called the S208/S209 spoiler (US Version). The JDM Version has different endplates. They've discontinued it for the BRZ since it's not as popular in sales. It costs $500+, but it's a lot better than spending $3k and will not break your wallet.
