OEM Subaru Flange Gasket

Does anyone know which way the OEM Subaru flange gaskets are supposed to face? Which side goes to towards the header?

I honestly have no idea, but if I recall correctly, my GS gaskets were similar and I just put them on. No leaks, so I'm happy.

Not sure, but I would put it on so that rounded part was facing the header ("in" flow of exhaust).

In other words, so that the left side, in picture #1 was facing the header.

It's their cheap ver of crush gasket, so it doesn't really matter much... but if you're OCD (like me), I would put it like humfrz stated

I think that way also makes it easier to put the header on without the gasket falling away or something
