Pirelli P Zero Trofeo R reviews?

How does the Trofeo R compare in general and on our cars specifically to other streetable R comp tires?

I've tried many and my favorite has been the NT01 for almost 10 years on various cars, including the BRZ. I've run the 225/45-17 on 8" wheels and loved that setup. Now the Trofeo R is available in that size and I'm considering trying it since I've generally heard very positive reviews from Porsche friends (only one went back to the NT01).

NASA rates them as a 7 point tire where as the NT01 and Maxxis RC-1 are rated at 6 points (more points being faster). So, in theory the Trofeo R will be a little bit faster than the NT01's (like 1/2 second or less) but still not as fast as a Hoosier R7 (which are 10 point tires).

Seeing as the Trofeo R's are priced competitively with the NT01 and RC-1, I'd say its worth giving them a try as long as the tread life is decent.
