OBD2 Factory Sensors Readout with Ecutek

hey

I finally made the switch from oft to ecutek but now without the handheld oft what are my options to view the various parameters the oft displayed? I am mainly looking for IAM and kc since my car is sensitive to our crap bc gas and can pull as much as .4 IAM.

from my understanding you would need the ecutek cable to log? I don't feel like dropping that much for a cable just to log and would rather have an instantaneous readout

I have a Cafi dashlinq and I've searched in the thread but it does not clearly mention whether torque can get IAM and/or KC learned values. I know it shows ignition timing but would rather just have the multiplier to find out quick if my car is knocking

how are you guys doing it?

None of the cheap obd reader will be able to display those knock parameters like fbkc flkc kc learned or iam.

They work by making requests for the standard set of parameters that manufacturers make available generic stuff like ignition timing coolant oil temps ect, not specific parameters like knock parameters.

Those parameters you require need requests for specific ram addresses in the ecu which change with different rom calid.

Should have kept the oft :-) the realtime display and tuning alerts are rearly good

else you going to need and ecutek cable and a windows laptop or tablet in the car , even then it wont sound alarm for iam drop or knock, but will display it

tactrix realtime display via romraider logger is not working yet it only logs to sd card

The only cheap way to display those parameters on a tablet\laptop would be toyota techstream software and a cheap VCI adapter avaliable on ebay, different to elm327 obd adapters
