Where did your forum name come from? - Toyota GR86, 86, FR-S and Subaru BRZ Forum & Owners Community

Couldn't find this thread already so I thought I would start it since there are a few people who I'm curious as to where their names came from (@Tcoat, @humfrz)

Tectoniic is from back in my MLG Halo 3 days. Someone already had it with 1 i so I just used 2, it was sort of a thing at the time for people to use double i or x to replace a character. I liked how it sounded and gradually used it for other things. It has now become so ingrained with me online that I don't think I can ever use anything else.

If you have a cool/interesting reason for your name lets hear it. If your forum name is FRSHELLAJDMSWAGFLUSH I'm pretty sure we already figured it out although I kind of want that name ironically now.

Runescape when I was like 12 (hence the spelling) hahaha!! Been the same every since for everything!

Well looking back through that thread many (most?) of those people are not even active anymore anyway.

First initial and part of last name.
When I first signed up on the forum I just wanted a quick name in case I had any questions so didn't get creative.
Ironically my thought at the time was "No need to get fancy it's not like I ever plan on posting anything"

Well, OK, @Tectoniic, now that you ask.

"humfrz" is a phonetic spelling of my last name "Humphreys".

It was designed by mrs humfrz; ..... she made it simple, so I could remember it ....

Cuz it's on different server (older server), so it won't come up easily. Best way to search is go to google and search whatever you're looking for and after that add "FT86Club"

I just went and read the entire original thread so I did see yours but i did just realize that the characters in your signature are modeled after the FRS/BRZ....I can't tell you how many times I've looked at your signature without seeing it.
