Car encounter and then I said damn.

I was driving back from work and I stopped at a red light. This car pulls up, revs their car and I thought damn that exhaust sounds good. He continues to rev, at this point I'm thinking they want to race. I don't race in the streets by the way. I look over and it's a Maserati.

The Gran Turismos are pretty cool. Though, it probably shouldnt command any more respect performance wise than a 5.0 stang--not that those aren't impressive as well.

They both would devour our little cars haha.

The wife and I were sitting at a red light yesterday in the BRZ when I heard a short, high pitched roar over my right shoulder. A red 458 coupe pulls up beside us, driven by a guy is his 40s with his younger girlfriend in the right seat. Traffic was terrible and the road we were on narrows to a single lane in each direction. I managed to get behind him and we watched as he revved and weaved like an angry **** head for the next 2km until the road widened again and he could take off. It wasn't like he was just being opportunistic. He was stabbing the throttle and hitting the brakes like the thing would die if he just drove normally. The car sounded great, but I couldn't help thinking that driving it in Saturday afternoon traffic in London was a waste and that the car was wasted on a jackass.

A lot of holes to this story, therefor I am doubting its authenticity.

They absolutely should command more respect. Even redesigned and spruced up as it has been, the Mustang is unable to wash off the stench of its low-class roots.
