Gauge Swap or Upgrade

I don't see the need for two speedos.
Is there a gauge cluster that removes the analog speedometer and replaces it with more useful gauges?
Pics and or links please.
Thanks

I am working on two projects right now that will possibly fix this. I haven't posted about them because neither is done yet (having a 4 month old child will do that) and I kind of had a crazy idea about making some beer money with the ideas.

1) Replace the oem stepper motor (thing that drives the needle) with one of your own that has one or more shafts (I have a two shaft one I'm working with right now). Then fab up a needle and a needle holder that sits inside it to use both shafts (and the oem needle...modified). Then find a way to install it behind the gauge cluster sandwich assembly thing. Then write code to get sensor data from sensors (I'm using autometer oil pressure and temp senders because autometer is cool with sending you spec sheets and answering questions.) and to drive the motor to scale the movement of the needles correctly. Oh and you have to relabel things on the gauge face, which is a pain in the ass because of how it is all lit (and because of that stupid space invaders crap on the FRS face). Luckily the number labels that are there are close enough (I'll let you figure that what goes with what scale.). I'm 85% of the way done with this one. I still have: fitment issues with the gauge needles/need a better paint to make the red look good on the 3d printed needle/and I need to refine the motor driving code a little.

2) Stick a small screen in there, but be careful not to block the warning lights and other crap on the circle. Also it won't look OEM unless you fab an enclosure for it. Use an arduino or a raspberry pi or some other already established gauge there (plx gauges obdII thing might work, but it doesn't do CAN stuff or take new PID's like the oil temp pid). I'm probably going to use the raspberry pi/obdpy route and 3d print a bracket for a smallish screen go there. I'm 5% done with this. I have the pi and the screen and I'm playing with someone else's software and I have and idea of how I want to mount it all (in my head).

There are some pictures on my instagram: https://instagram.com/stirobot/ . Bottom right of the first page is a video.

I remember a while back a company had a LCD screen that would plug into OBDII and display any data it could access.
Oil psi, water temp, rmp...and so on.

How far have they come along since I first saw this device?
Is this an option to supplement the lack of gauges on the dash?

Sure there are a number of systems that do what you are talking about. P3gauges, greddy informeter, torque on a small android device, and plx gauges come to mind. Fitting them in that area and making it look good is the hard part. Also some of these have some particular limitations including not looking pretty, being touchscreen, and not being able to do the oil temp reading on our cars (some have all of these issues, others have some, some have none, etc.).

Also just found out about Dash Commander.
It does all the OBD2 stuff plus GPS for track days and G meter.
Shows breaking and acceleration on the track you are driving on with a Google maps overlay.
