After reading the Necro bump on octane...

The US doesn't use the metric system, which is IMO a better system.

But at least we don't use "stones" to measure weight.

How dare you Limey bastages accuse us of using the wrong metric!

What weighs more-16oz of water or 16oz of sugar?

Why the **** does daylight savings time still exist?

These are the questions that keep me awake at night.

Which weighs more? 80 grams of speed or 80 grams of meth?
Having electrodes on my nipples or an un-lubed carrot up my butt?
These are the questions that keep me awake at night.

IIRC, a fluid oz of water is slight more (1.04) than an avoirdupois ounce. So, I'd say that water is heavier

FYI, in Canada we still buy weed by the ounce. This despite switching to metric in '75. Sixties throwback, sentimental bastards we are.

Most of my tools for the cars are metric. But I had to get SAE sockets for my American made pinball machines. Damn yanks.
