Greddy evo 4 GT OR MXP Comp Rs

Hey guys,

Looking for some opinions from current owners or people who have been through the exhaust shopping process already.

I'm currently torn between these two exhausts. Initially I really really wanted the Greddy. From all the video clips I've seen I personally think it sounds the best. However I've read that it kind of dies off after 5/6k RPM??

Then I found the MXP. And honestly the price is very attractive. However I'm afraid it may be way too loud.

I currently have a BERK HFC front pipe and will be adding a cat less UEL header with the system. So I do expect things to get loud but I don't want anything obnoxious or raspy out of a full system.

Anyone with experience care to chime in?

I don't have experience with the EVO4, but i have had the MXP Comp RS for a over a year now. (Was between the GReddy supreme SP and MXP Comp RS)

Price is great, no drone unless you're at 6th on the highway at 4-6k rpm. Even then, just your music will mask it. Daily driving is great, you don't set off alarms. Unless you're cheeky, and blimp the throttle near cars in an enclosed space. Overall, exhaust is subtle for normal driving, and gets decently loud when you put the pedal to the metal. It's no Tomei type 80, neither does it drone like the N1, i would say it's a just a little louder than the Q300.

Welds are good, you can adjust the tips to fit the profile of your bumper. No wobbles, rattles or fitment issues. You'll be surprised about the exhaust for the price you're paying.

I'm only running the mxp as far as exhaust mods goes, not sure how your future mods are going to affect it. I know the Evo4 is definitely louder, so save yourself the extra cash, get the MXP Comp RS and put the savings into other exhaust components.

Hope that helps, oh and cabin noise isn't bad. GF never complains so, i'll just quietly add headers in the future hehe.

Thank you! Just the input I was looking for. The MXP I was reading is actually Javier than the stock setup? So I don't know. I'm on the fence again.
