Time required to burn oil after error?

Wasn't paying attention and allowed a small kink in my turbo drain. Had the car ideling for about 20min while burping the coolant system. I then noticed the smoke out the tailpipe and shut her off. Made up a new drain line and reclocked the turbo and all seems to be running happily but, still burning oil out the exhaust tailpipe and wastegate when it dumps.

Since the fix I've driven the car about 5 times for 10min light sessions to clear out the oil staying out of boost. Still smoking? I'm wondering if I should just hop on the highway and flog it for an hour or so? I pulled the turbo and the up pipe looks good but, the down pipe has oil in it. Cleaned what I could with a rag but still smoking especially when I hit 210* oil temp.

Thoughts?

we had a similar problem with one of our turbos and after finding nothing further wrong, we were still blowing blue smoke even after we thought we had cleaned everything. it continued until we ran at speed for some time. very little oil will make a lot of smoke. ten minutes on the freeway on and off the throttle cleared the problem.
