warranty work in pdx.

Who should I go to? Im sure you guys have plenty of horror stories. But do we have any decent dealers around here? Just looking for a cabin filter change and to see why my passenger side window failed tonight.
Thanks in advance!

If you want a cabin filter change, buy it for $20 and install it yourself with no tools and 5 minutes of your time.

Your window? Is it frozen? Or what?

Blinking lights on the window buttons.... *please no "read the manual or forum" 16 hour work day. Shit everywhere*

$20 dollars spent on that is twenty less I can spend on things like drugs, hookers and car parts. mostly car parts.

So you think the dealer is going to replace a wear item for free? lmao, please go to dealer and tell them replace your cabin filter. Can't wait to see you come back here and cry about the $100 bill you can no longer spend on dirty pussi.

And yes, the blinking windows is a simple fix if you google or look on this site. But by all means take it to the dealer and wait 2 hours for a 10 minute google fix.

At least send him the link to the window blinky fix thingy. I would but don't know about it. We don't live in the desert so I doubt you need to change your cabin filter even after 2 years, although if something crawled up there and died like a mouse or spiders then perhaps it is time. :p

you don't get a break during that 16 hour shit day? google gave me these results in 10 seconds of my time during my morning coffee break.

as far as the cabin air filter, that's going to cost you 5x more money to have the dealer replace it vs spending 20$ to order it from amazon and installing yourself.

for Stockysnail, we live in a very moist area prone to mold, my cabin air filter was BLACK after 15k miles and smelled spunky, and i garage my car.

I've had no issues at Vancouver Toyota, already took my car in to get warranty work done a couple times, condensation in my taillights and replaced my driver side window seal.

Perhaps I'll check out my cabin filter. Need to figure out where it is as I've never modded that part yet. One of the few I haven't.

Windows fixed. Filter purchased off amazon (after I inspected it). Thank you for the links.

Unfortunately, working in the restaurant biz, breaks can be hard to come by. Monday was a call out, no coverage, purveyors forgetting items, two immature cooks fighting over tape, POS system crash etc, all while a record breaking (monday) for us. Lots of happy customers, and never a dull moment! Thank you all so much for the help, it was nice to receive some help after such a long day.
