Fuel Light

I'm only getting 38 litres into the tank when the fuel light comes meaning there should 12 litres left. Whats everyone else experience?

I usually get about 11 gallons before the light comes on. I've put in almost exactly 12 before.

Looks like my best miles/fuel-up is 352 mi.

I can fit about a quart short of 11 after the light comes on. Haven't yet gotten around to running it dry and doing the 1-gal-at-a-time gauge calibration.

Pretty much exactly 38 liters the few times I have let the light come on. There is a pile of kilometers of range left after the light shows low though.

It's a 13.2 gallon (50 liter) tank, and the low fuel light is supposed to come on when there are approximately 1.8 gallons (6.8 liters) remaining. That's enough for 54 miles (87 kilometers) of highway driving with the manual. The low fuel light, in my experience, is not always that accurate, though. All it says is that you need fuel at some point, lol.

People in the U.S. are getting screwed. I can't go nearly as many miles after the light comes on. What's so damn special about the Canadian cars?

Yea, definitely not very accurate.

The "driest" I've run mine required a refill of 11.878 gallons (I track every tank, and they are listed in my Owner's Journal). At that point the needle was sitting dead on E, and the light had been on for over 50 miles.

There are so many things I could do with that statement! Good thing not 2:am on a Saturday night after a few beers or this post would likely be very different.
