So before I purchased this FRS I had my rx8. What I loved about it was how the hear windows opened up and I was able to rear the lovely sound of wind and my exhaust without having wind blowing in my face with the front window down.

Couldn't find any thread topics on this also couldn't find any good pictures

But what do you guys think about it going on our cars

That's the only picture I had with the rear windows opened, and by the way that's my fiancé. Lol

Second photo some reason wouldn't let me upload more then one, if you zoom in the rear window you can see it opened. All I had to do was push up to open it and push the window out.

Yeah what I'm trying to say is you guys think it's possible to do some modification to make it work on our cars?

Lol google literally has no images of it opened. I zoomed in on one of my photos, honestly not trying to show off my old car I'm just curious and really interested

theoretically it wouldn't be that difficult, but you'd definitely need to take it to a reputable customization place as it's beyond the skill level of your average shade tree mechanic.

my e36 had windows like that and i was thinking the same thing. but... it would be ALOT of work for little result. Not sure how it is in the RX8 but my friend converted his rear windows from manual to a switch

Honestly its just one more seal to go bad, one more thing to make noise. While I as well have had vehicles with such windows they eventually were just a pain in the ass and not worth it IMO of course...
