Hello all

I've been a lurker for a while. I've owned a 2008 Cayman S and a 2012 M3. I recently picked up an FRS RS 1.0. The main reason, I chose the FRS was because I bought a house. All in all, I'm happy with my purchase and the FR-S is a great car with great value. Subtle mods for now. But it will get the track treatment.I love laguna seca and can't wait to break her in properly.

I name all my black cars Michelle. But for the FR-S, she'll be Zoe. Enjoy!

Staggered 18s Enkei Raijin.

Very sharp. Perhaps the most appropriately named wheels for the RS 1.0 too!

Enkei = Circle
Raijin = God of Lightning

Zeus himself blessed you with these wheels!

if you plan to track ... consider joining us for the last 86CUP 2014 season event at Laguna Seca on Dec 27.

Yes, only in yellow. All of Scion's Release Series are a single color (similar to the 10 Series).

Congrats on your new FR-S!
Zoe looks sweet!
Curious on your thoughts coming from the Cayman S - I was thinking of getting a used one in the future - still determining ownership costs and value etc.. You're thoughts welcome. I haven't even test driven one as well - so it's all fantasy at this point.
Cheers!

Used Cayman S, preferably the 2009 to 2012 generation is solid and very sought after. A lot of drivers claim its better and more visceral then the current generation Cayman S. I've driven both and agree with that statement. Of course everyone likes new. So for looks the new Cayman looks way better.

If I was going to do it all over again though, then I'd get a Cayman GT3 or GT4. The power bump should be in line with a base 911. And the mid-engine setup will be too desirable to pass up.

While on that note, the M3 is a beast of a machine. I definitely miss pulling people on the freeway. But the FR-S is good for cheap track fun. And I'm happy with my purchase.

The RS FRS has TRD lowering springs that when settle come out to an inch drop. The guys at the loading dock said they had a helluva time getting it off the trailer. And I've already popped my cherry and bottomed out once....
