Alcantara/Interior Cleaner

So i came across a product I've been using to clean the seats and the interior of my FR-S. I had been cleaning the seats with leather master foam cleaner but the seats would still retain that sweat smell sometimes. The car is my daily driver and sometimes i'm dusty and dirty when i get off my shift. This BMW OEM cleaner is perfect for the seats. Its a natural product and smells great. It claims its for all interior surfaces and Alcantara as well. I've been using it about a month now and it has had no ill effect on the seats. Infact it kind of brought the material back to life especially after owning this car now for over a year and a half so thats a great plus. The product name is "BMW All Natural Cleaner" ansi got it for $9 at my local BMW Dealership. Ha, the service guys loved the FR-S!!!

But its bitter tasting

Good find though, I assume you use it on the cloth seats? Or do you have the Monogram with alcantara/leather.

Yeah but the shipping was really high. I initially found it here: http://www.shopbmwusa.com/PRODUCT/29...TERIOR-CLEANER

I saw on the bottle it said you can spray it on or spray a cloth and wipe it on but I was curious how you applied it? Or if you had a method that seemed to work with better results? Thanks!

The trigger on the sprayer is a super fine mist so i spray from a distance and immediately brush the fabric with a very soft shoe brush. The brand is "kiwi" and cost about $3 it has very soft bristles. I don't saturate the fabric just a few sprays seems to work. Car smells fresh inside.

I tried it on leather on another car but had mixed results. It dried out the test area i did but cleaned it very well. I followed up with a leather conditioner and that small area was good again. BMW seems to have a great line of car care stuff.

I picked up some of this BMW natural care cleaner yesterday. Thanks for the tip! They had some in stock at the dealership. With one quick application, that sweat smell from the gym went away immediately.
