Saying Hi! (Props to other ft86-owners)

[Well, I meant to post this in General Forum, oops! Can't find the delete.]

Austin BRZ owner, and I've been away from Austin for a while. When I got back, I'm seeing a crap load of BRZ's and FR-S's. Even a GT86 with a really nice setup.

Well anyways, I turned out of a gas station, jetted to the speed limit, and before I knew it, a red frs caught up to me. From what I could tell he/she added a few modifications. New Rims, fog lights, (maybe head lights; Hard to tell, he passed since I was preparing for my turn). Either way, I liked his setup. So thought I flash a props to him. But for a moment, I paused and thought... how do I do that? I ended up flashing my fog lights at him, he acknowledge back with his hazards.

It was neat, and it's been crazy seeing how many ft86 vehicles I'm seeing on the roads here in Austin now. Besides that, how do you peeps say "hey, nice ride" to other ft86 owners, especially with setups would like to recognize?

We have a universal wave. It involves pulling your pants downs and sticking your ass up to the window.

Kidding. I ususally just give a nice wave or a finger point. I do it to all Subarus though.

That's a little uncalled for bro. Maybe you should be nicer. You'll live longer. The guy is excited and I have no problem with that. I give thumbs up to my BRZ brethren. Just because.

Speaking of this... Are there any Austin FR-S/BRZ meetups? I see a few in DFW and San Antonio.

I agree that they're all over Austin. We've got at least 4 represented in this thread already...

What are your plans for the car?

Maybe the official salute starts here. We could make up our own gang sign or something.
