Most reliable catback exhaust?
Had a long discussion with some tuners and decided i dont want to go UEL/FD not until ive mastered the car’s limits stock at the track. But since im itching for better sound and cover the artificial cabin sound generator, id like to settle with a quality exhaust that should last pretty much as long as OEM as i plan to stick with this for the car’s lifetime. Im just talking on quality since ive heard inividias eventually “burn out”. Any suggestions?

Cant go wrong with perrin products. If you add UEL will sound neat. For cabin sound you can add inlet house to the engine

Amuse makes a pretty good one for us. Lightweight and durable.
If you can swallow the price.

Almost any of the exhausts using a large suitcase style muffler will work. Get stainless and roll on. If you don't want a packed muffler there is corsa and flowmaster.

I’d suggest looking at some of the JASMA certified exhausts, as the certification specifically refers to maintaining noise suppression at a specified level over time due to the breakdown of muffler or silencer packing. I have a Blitz Nür Spec R stainless steel exhaust that’s JASMA certified and sounds great with my ACE 4-2-1 Type-A 350 equal length header, although it will be on the quiet side if the rest of the exhaust is stock. The only possible downside is that it’s a single exit exhaust, which may not be the look you want. Good luck!

Yep, in my opinion it’s very tame. My system consists of an ACE 4-2-1 Type-A 350 equal length header, Motiv catted front pipe, and the Blitz Nür Spec R stainless steel exhaust, and there’s no drone and conversation is easily held at any RPM. At full throttle it’s got a great bark and a refined sound, but I suspect without the header it would be extremely quiet. I don’t have any clips of the car running through gears and it’s been put away for the winter, but maybe I can shoot something for you in the spring.

We have the CSG Touring86 Exhaust that has been on boosted cars seeing over 300WHP without any degradation over the past 2.5 years of heavy track use.

I'm a huge fan of the Nameless Axelback myself. With stock header and front pipe, the tone is nice and focused, good rumble and zero drone. Not super loud if you go with the 5" mufflers but can get pretty loud if no mufflers. Low rasp as well.
Nameless is also an incredibly reputable company that makes quality parts.
